New FZ2000

This has just been announced:
http://www.panasonic.com/uk/consumer...mc-fz2000.html.

It is supposed to be on sale by the end of the year, at the reasonable (!) price of 1100.

Slightly heavier than the FZ1000, it focusses down to 3cm (instead of 1cm) and seems to be aimed more at the video market. I eagerly await reviews of its still shooting capability, however.

I too am awaiting the reviews of the production models, but I suspect that there aren't enough improvements to make me want to shell out $1500 Australian for a camera that doesn't have any improvement in the stills department over the FZ1000. The small increase in zoom, while welcome, isn't enough.

Has anyone here taken the plunge and ordered a FZ2500?

Really tempted, but it's a lot of cash to make a plunge on the FZ 2000/2500. I need to see more reviews and stills to make the jump!
