Hello from San Antonio
Cool map - just posted my pin & also just joined bird forum this weekend. I got interested in birding (and observing wildlife in general) while working on my MS in Biology. I then wrote the following thesis: Habitat occupancy by the Black-capped Vireo following prescribed burns at Kerr Wildlife Management Area. I did this through Texas State University-San Marcos. Now I bird for fun - not grades. My favorite birding area I have been to so far is King Ranch in Kingsville, Texas. Happy birding...

Hello Deirdra and a warm welcome to you from those of us on staff here at BirdForum.
Your thesis sounds very interesting. Perhaps you could share parts of it in one of our Forums. Glad you found us and look forward to your future participation
