alpen - why is it being ignored

Hello,

I am considering an Alpen 80 scope. I have noticed that the Alpen scopes are usually being "ignored" in forums, reviews etc.

Any reason?
Does anyone have anthing good or bad to say about Alpen?

I’ve never heard of Alpen Optics until now.

I think Alpen optics are like other brands that aren't considering good optics. The zoom and the size of the lens sounds good but it might have poor quality.
