Unhappy USB on CP885

The usb port on my 885 got damaged - entirely my fault. Today I got a quote to fix it - £230. I use it for the Nikon remote cord, but I honestly think that to pay £230 is a waste of money - I can buy a new 885 for under £300. I am posting this just as a warning that one needs to be careful.

Ouch - thanks for the warning! I love my 885, but if this happened to me I would have to use it as an excuse to look at upgrading!
