I think its a kind of sandpiper but.......Help please,

I think it's a Greenshank, although the white rump looks a bit squarish rather than extending up the back. That might be due to the angle of the photograph though.

Carola, you were right with "kind of sandpiper", and i agree, greenshank (tringa nebularia) for me too.
