Whiskered Tern, A47
Just got in from Yarmouth!
About half a kilometre East of Acle, right by the A47 (to the North of the road!) a WHISKERED TERN is feeding over a dyke: I saw it at about 2 metres range! Fabulous bird! |

Dang ... that stretch of A47 is probably the only place in Norfolk you can't get to by bicycle (... not if you want to live, that is)
Cheers for the info though

I'd swap all five of my Whiskered Terns for your Pond Heron any day, Monsieur!
