Oriole ID

The attached photographs were taken in early May in southeastern Arizona.

I am 90% sure it is an oriole as I can not find any other bird with the same color combinations. However, I can not match these photos to an Oriole. Any ideas??

A fine male Western Tanager (Piranga ludoviciana) looks like a 2cy, brownish, worn primaries, blackish greater coverts. Adult male usually has a yellow upper wing-bar (lesser coverts) if not to worn. Would have been a nice new Oriole though!

Seeing the colors I was immediately thinking an Oriole. When I did a search I on orange and yellow all that came up were Orioles which reinforced my preconceived solultion. However, the orange easily could be a shade of red and when I substituted red for orange in my search, guess what pops up, the Western Tanager. Thank you for your help.
