I have a flock of geese and ducks (three geese, 5 ducks). I've been wondering why my male ducks will tuck their neck down and puff out their chests. Does anyone know why they do that? I've wondered if it had something to do with a mating ritual or something. If you know, please reply to my email address at DaddysDolly0928@itlnet.net
Thanks, Shelley |

hello, welcome to bird forum! - the males will do this as part of a mating ritual, to make themselevs look bigger to the females..........although this is a WILD birds only forum, so try not to mention your personal animals/birds etc.
