Help with Tripod and Head
Hello all. New to site and 1st posting. I just bought a Nikon 20-60x80mm scope and I need a good tripod. I will mostly be using the scope and tripod on sandy beaches in multitudes of weather conditions. My Nikon was $350 US, and really I dont want to spend more than 150 for tripod and head. In a perfect world, it would be under $150 US, lightweight, sturdy, fluid head, quick release. Lastly, I am concerned with the issue of sand in twist lock configuration. Any experience??? Thank you all and happy birding.
Cheers, JB |
