House Martin migration
I have just had a flock of about 30 House Martins (I have a colony near my house) feeding noisily. It is pouring with rain and while feeding, they were slowly moving away. It looks like they've left!
What time do House Martins leave? Isn't it too early? What's the latest that they go? Thanks. Last edited by david2004 : Friday 7th April 2006 at 16:26. |

The norm for them setting of for Africa is sept, but they have been known to leave as late as mid oct, hope this helps David.
