Is This a Grey Plover?
Second photo, on the right (the photos loaded backwards). Seen at the Yatsu Higata Salt Marsh in Funabashi, Japan, just outside Tokyo.
Looks like one, but I just wanted to be sure; the Winter plumage is supposed to be white, and this is August. Might be immature. The firstx photo is definitely a Grey, taken at the same park. As always, thanks for the help. |

Among other things I think the bill is too long - how about Sanderling?
