hi all
hoping to go to st lucia for a week starting 18th sept 2005. anyone been there and got any tips many thanks nigel & Rita |

Hi, unfortunately, I have not yet been to St Lucia, but there are some reports on the web for the island:
http://www3.ns.sympatico.ca/maybank/main.htm http://www.birdtours.co.uk/ has some of the better collections, I think. Be aware that the area where the white-breasted thrasher is found is infested with fer-de-lance (a viper), so watch your steps. The subspecies on St Lucia might warrant species status. Niels |
