Bird forum Universal Quiz 1.

Questions are general – no particular subject.

Read the rules carefully.
The objective of the new rules is to try to give those that use their grey matter more of a fair chance against the speed googlers.

RULES
1. Questions posted on Thursday Answers posted on Sunday.
2. 2 points for each correct answer. Multi-part questions require all parts answered correctly for the 2 points. 1 point will be awarded for answers that are significantly on the right track. The 2nd point will be awarded to the first person to “fill in the gaps”. Bonus points may be awarded additional relevant information.
3. There is no Rule 3
4. Judge's decision final.
5. During the first 24 hours from the quiz being posted
- you are allowed ONLY ONE POST (containing answers to as many questions as you like).
- Additional posts (within the first 24 hours) will be ignored.
- Edited posts (within the first 24 hours) will be disqualified.
- Complete answers will take precedence over earlier partial answers
6. After the first 24 hours there is no restriction on posts (usual free for all rules). It is better not to edit your posts. If you want to add or correct something post a new reply. The points go to the first person to get the correct answer. "First" is taken as the posting time. If you edit a post, the editing time will be used as the posting time for all answers in the post.

GOOD LUCK ENJOY

I think the wording in question 2 should be "right handed".

Eddie, Southpaws are left handed, they may lead with the right, but in boxing you lead with your weak hand, usually throwing jabs leaving your good un for that killer punch.

Yes Charles it is, but that does not mean that all threads HAVE to be bird related. BF is a forum for like-minded people to share information and have some fun. Most birders are interested in other wildlife and conservation issues and therefore these subjects are covered here as well as other "off subject" matters such as jokes, quizzes (bird related or not) even the odd astronomy thread. If these treads don’t interest you then just ignore them, but please don’t suggest removing "Ruffled Feathers", or other non-Birding forums from this site they are part of what makes BF such a great site.
