Ferruginous duck ?
Hi,
I think it could be ferruginous duck (Moorente/Aythya nyroca). If this is true it should have had a white patch at the back, which is not visible on your photo. http://www.natur-lexikon.com/Texte/H.../HWG00094.html I saw some of them 2 days ago an will post the images tomorrow. Rivieren |

Looks like a very brown Mallard type duck sp. Shape is all wrong for Ferruginous.
