Egg

Anyone know what this moth egg is? Laid in my moth trap in SW France at the end of July.

Wouldn't normally try to identify eggs, but this one at least seems distinctive...

This site is probably the best start although even here there are rather few eggs pictured. Good luck.

The Prominents have eggs that are this pale and have an apical pore,I am sure I have seen the ring when I have bred the Great prominents although I think it faded after a day(It was about 15years ago and I am ashamed to say that my note taking was woefully inadequate)
