For some information about the forthcoming lenses look at this and this.

Nothing is set in stone until we get the official announcement which is supposed to be on Tuesday.

Thanks.

It'll be interesting to hear the official announcements, but if Sony decide to use the same 10.2mp sensor that they currently sell to Nikon for the D200, see ya..!

I am very sad I have just heard of this move . I am very impressed with the amount of photographers who use minolta . I have had Minolta since 1988 .
I started with the Maxxum 7000 a great camera for beginner . I have a 400si for my daughter an 8oosi I use as my main 35mm. I have had a minolta digital s414 that was a great first digital camera and now have a Minolta Dynax A1 Dimage. My lenses are 35-70,70-210 and the sigma 50-500. I love them all I rarely found people who stood up for minolta and they were one of the first to have the slr's I applaud the . Just had my say and thank you for all the messages that I read also I am new to the bird forum . Everyone have a good day Barb
