Hello everyone, I am new to this forum and bird watching, and this is my first post so be gentle with me. After years of talking about it my family and I are going to be moving to the Lot district of France (just next to the Dordogne). We were wondreing what types of birds we could expect to see there. (is there a book available?). We have been visiting the same area for 18 years now and have often seen large birds of prey soaring above us. You can imagine our delight when 2 weeks ago we were looking at our plot of land where our house is going to be built and soaring above our heads was one of these large birds. (could it have been a buzzard). Any help would be much appreciated.
Regards
Steve.
