Lesser or Common Redpoll

Can anyone identify the Redpoll species, which are all the same bird. Caught the shots at Fairburn Ings, West Yorkshire on Saturday 4th March.

Looks like a Lesser - I think I can see a darkish rump on the middle picture. Also looks rather dark and brown on the head.

I'd agree - also the wing bar is buff - I think it would be white on a Common, although seperating Redpolls is a bit of a minefield!

I agree this bird is probably a Lesser Redpoll, appears rather buff in some places and not frosty enough in general.
