Fieldfares?
I saw a flock of birds today trying to head east in to a very strong head wind, unfortunately they were too far away to get a good ID. Definitely looked Thrushy though, 25 to 30 of them. If they were Fieldfares then these are the first I have seen in this area since December.

Fieldfares have started arriving here on my local patch in SW Norway during the last several days.

I got my first Redwings of the year today as well - about 40 at the Memorial Park.
