Crimson Rosellas

These are active at my Studio all year round. The immature birds are a camo splotchy green. Their cousins, the Eastern Rosellas [with more yellow ] and the red-rumped parrots will start arriving back over the next few weeks.
The crimson rosellas are fearless around buildings, often taking speedy shortcuts under verandahs. I've even had them flit under the brim of my hat. The Studio flywire screens are pitted where they fly into the doors, usually stunning thmselves as they trampoline back from the flywire screens.
