Opticron eyepiece help

I currently have a HR 66 GA angled scope with a 30xWA eypiece on. I take alot of photos through the scope and am pretty happy with the results. However would it worth my while in investing in the 28WW eyepiece for better quality or because losing a little magnification would my photos suffer.
Any help appreciated.

The HDF eyepieces are much better than the HR, so yes, the 28x HDF 40809 will be better than the HR x30, you'll obviously lose some magnification though. Take your scope with you and try the HDF zoom eyepiece too whilst you're at it!.

Opticron eyepiece

I also see that Opticron do a 38xWW HD eyepiece. I know that this will reduce my FOV but for photography will this be better for me and get me sharper and closer inages.
