Aberrant female Brewer's Blackbird?
I'm in Ventura, Calif. Happened to be in Camarillo, Calif., 25 mins south of Ventura, and I saw an unusual female (?), possibly Brewer's Blackbird mixed in with a flock of normal males and females. She has dull white cheek patches that wrap around her eyes and to the back of her bill, with a thin, dull black line through the eye. The rest of her is charcoal grey-black, with dark eyes. The males have brilliant yellow eyes, which is why I was thinking it's female. There's nothing like it in any bird book I have. ???? It's definately a type of small blackbird. Very strange...Working on trying to get pictures.

I hope you get your answer. I would love to know what type of a bird this is as well.
