Hummingbirds ID - Costa Rica
Hi everyone
I am just back from a very nice walking tour in hot and humid Costa Rica. I tried to identify what I can on the photos published on my web page (Costa Rica ). I would need some help for the birds I could not identify and would like to start with the Hummingbirds: 1. http://www.pbase.com/tcom/image/58676793 2. http://www.pbase.com/tcom/image/58676794 3. http://www.pbase.com/tcom/image/58676801 Thank you very much for your help. PS: is it alright to link directly to my webpage ?

Hi Dominique
I'm just back from a birding holiday there. I saw both of these species 1) Purple-throated Mountain Gem female 2) and 3) Green Violet-ear Savegre is a lovely valley! Tim |

Yes, indeed, Savegre is beautiful. From a birding point of view, I also liked the Cano Negro.
