Thumbs up Canary Island Birds

Hello everybody,
I just want to recommend a new book about the breeding birds of the Canary Islands by Tony Sanchez. Tony has written and illustrated the book himself and his full page illustrations of the birds are fantastic. The books is only available in Spainish at the moment but is worth it for the pictures alone. An English edition is also due at some point. Does anyone have any experience of birding in th Canaries?
