scary-canary Canaries forever... and i'm not always scary, sometimes it's just Chris! Join Date: Dec 2005 Location: Colehill, near Wimborne, Dorset Posts: 2,208 My location	Scops owls in France Can anyone tell me if scops owl is present in the Loire valley, especially in the region near Loches, south east of Tours? Also has anyone got any good sites in that region for other species such as bee eater, woodpeckers etc. I'm going there in a week's time. Many thanks Chris
