Problem with LCD monitor on CP995

Hi all.

Hopefully someone can help me ,today my cp995 let out 2 beeps on checking the monitor I noticed a scratch/crack running up from the right hand corner of the monitor. This crack seems to be internal,on further investigation I could see tiny marks on various parts of the screen(best described as pock marks).Question is does anybody know what the problem is?(dead pixels?)

Regards Stevo

Sounds like the lcd is seriously damaged, maybe leaking..... what-ever it is, it's going to have to go back to Nikon, unless you can live with it.
Good luck with it.

Thanks for the quick reply Andy,I have spoken to Nikon`s technical department today & have been advised that it`s dead pixels in the monitor.I have been quoted £135.00+vat to fix the problem the good thing is they said the camera is`nt likely to pack up altogether!!
