i agree on ring-billed, just i'd age it as a one year older bird: 2nd summer = 3cy.

Oh hell thats what I meant - 2s/2w (2yr) not 2cy. I agree that this is a 3rd calendar year Ring-billed Gull.

Consider my wrists slapped for not using the correct terminology

hey mike, didn't want to be the know-all, but since i wasn't sure if you actually meant 2nd summer or not i proceeded in specifying. of course (and paradoxically) a 3cy in april wouldn't even be "two years old"..
