Canon 10D with Leica Scope

I would be interested to know of anyone who has used the above combination and what kind of results they have achieved. My scope is a 77mm APO Televid.

I've never done it, but here is my (slighty) educated guess about what you can do.

Leica might make a SLR mount, Swarovski does. Then you get a big lens (usually 800mm or 1000mm) that is manual focus with a fixed f-stop. Not bad, not great.

If you are thinking about digiscoping, then you will probably want to get the Canon 50mm f1.4 or f1.8. I have the 1.8 and it seemed to work fairly well with my swarovski. I found it a bit hard to use because I got the angled scope. The eye piece isn't easy to reach that way. But I got it more for viewing through than for digiscoping. I will eventually get a mounting system for it, probably from here:

The 50mm has a thread size (52mm?) which should work well with their stuff.
