Nikon TelescoMicro ED6 6x teleconverter

Hi All,

I've just recently learned of this lens. It's made with ED (extra low dispersion) glass to reduce chromatic aberration. It's fairly expensive (over $300 US) compared to the EagleEye, CrystalVue or Kenko teleconverters. I would hope a Nikon branded lens with ED glass would live up to Nikon standards, but I can't find any reviews on it and the only web information I can find is in Japanese. Any thoughts from my fellow digiscopers?

Joe

You can find comparative tests about telescimicro and eagleeye at http://www.cs.mtu.edu/~shene/DigiCam/, dedicated to Coolpix users.
