I figured out the easy answers too, after a while. But it was still fun, since i've been training myself to bird by ear for a couple years now.

Yes, Sylvia I am thrilled that I recognize a few more now like
the red tailed hawk. Of course cardinals are a given if you have
a backyard. But out west they don't have cardinals. I even have
been able to recognize when a hummingbird is in my vicinity now.
