Thumbs up marabou stork in holland!!

today i went outside my town to watch some birds..Some other birders were joking (i thought) about a marabou stork. I saw something in the water and thought it was or een white heron or a white stork. Later on i saw it 50 metres away: A marabou stork!! I couldn't believe what i saw. Is this common in northern europe? I have the idea it isn't coz i phoned it to the dutch birding line but they didn't list it on the site. They must have thought i was kidding.

i haven't heard zoo's complaining about missing some M.Storks but i'll keep myself informed and you all if you want to :)

Cya, Erik
