Legs recommendation
Can anyone reccommend a good Light weight tripod to use with a Manfrotto 488RC2 ball head. Needs to support a 400mm f5.6 lens + 1.4 tc. Price wise I am willing to pay up to £250 - £300

Hi Roy,
I have one for sale, a Cullmann with no head, weighs in at 1.6kGs. See : Cullmann Tripod Legs for full details. It's also in Classified ads in this forum. It has carried a 5kG telescope with no problems, very stable and sturdy. Of course, the actual load will also depend on the head you use.... LMK anyway..... |
