Faulty Hawke scope - excellent service from Deben
Credit where credit is due! I bought a Hawke Endurance 23-70x70 scope back in May from Opticswarehouse. The scope was excellent for its price but over the last week or two I noticed that when I would zoom in it wouldn't focus properly. Opticswarehouse instructed me to send it back to Deben, the manufacturers, so I posted it off last Tuesday, 19th Sept. On Thursday Deben rang me to say they had checked my scope out and had sent me out a brand new one, which I received today. Have to say I thought to have the whole transaction completed within a week was remarkable, particularly as I am in Ireland. I will be watching my new scope very closely over the next few months in case there is any deterioration again, I don't know what caused the fault. Anybody else have any problems with a Hawke scope? Hopefully it was a one off.
