what do you think have a look
I have not much success identifing my birds lately, fall has really been a learning experience. Here are a few picture that I would like peoples input on.All were taken in Southern Ontario (Rondeau Park) Oct.5 2006
1 Red-bellied Woodpecker (first one seen for me here) 2and3 Possible a Black-Throated Green Warbler--my guess 4 Possibel Eastern Pewee Thanks for any help I am putting in a part two with some sparrows if you like to take a look for identifing |

Last one looks like Eastern Phoebe (vs. Wood-Pewee) to me - see traces of white throat, overall dark face, and rounded tail edges.

So much work, so little time...so let's go birding!

I agree with Alex. I don't know about the rest of you, but I read the original post as Eastern Phoebe rather than Eastern Pewee several times, so Alex's response caught me by surprise. I agree that it is a phoebe and not a pewee. Chris

Hi Chris,
Gotta hold my hands up on this, got the Phoebe wrong, still 6 out of 7 not too bad, plus the Sharp-shin if I'm correct on that? |
