Pentax scope to view in Kent or Sussex?
Would any owners of a Pentax scope - preferably PF-80 or 100 - be kind enough to offer a "look through" in Kent or Sussex sometime this autumn or winter, please? They seem to be curiously under-promoted in the UK, not even mentioned on Pentax UK website?? Please e-mail John Kirk at: jaykayfive@hotmail.com Thanks

Hi JayKay,
You may have some luck finding a Pentax-owner (don't have one myself...) Option B is to go to one of the optics days where you can try a range of BINs and scopes out in the field. Have a look in a birdwatching magazine and check out the schedule, but I know that Bough Beech, Sevenoaks and Grove Ferry are all regular venues, which sound as if they're in your locale.... (Kays Optical springs to mind, can't quite recall who does Grove...) You can always phone them beforehand to ensure that they've got what you want on site.... Rgds.... Ruby |
