Molloch horridus
Better known as the Thorny Devil. The typical image of these is a yellow and tan, desert dwelling lizard. I was quite surprised to discover they were also found in woodland in Australia's south-west and even more surprised to find one a few days later! The woodland lizards take on a more green/tan camo look.

Great little creature. Spent a short while in Australia a couple of years back. Thorny Devil was one of the reptiles I most wanted to see, but unfortunately didn't see any. Gives me yet another reason to go back. Cheers for the photo mate
