Jay it is; a secondary feather, from a Sparrowhawk kill so there were plenty of other feathers to confirm the identity. Did you see the small spot of blue at the base of the white? Michael

Hi Andrew,
Its a bit big for a Pied Wagtail! - from the ruler, 14cm (5½") long, or ¾ of the entire length of a Pied Wag! BTW, forgot to mention, got the White-rumped Sand, super bird Michael
