Hi, from your newest member

I live in Doncaster South Yorkshire and have just bought a Nikon 80d.
I’m using it as a point and shoot at the moment as I don’t have much of a clue
I am looking for a zoom lens 4 or 500 can anyone help.

Hi Nokin and welcome to Bird Forum from all the Staff and Moderators

There are many members here from Yorkshire and I'm sure you'll come across them soon

Maybe posting your question in the Camera section may give you a better response among the helpful members who hang out there

Hi nokin and a warm welcome to you

I'm currently using the Tamron 200-500mm and am quite happy with it.

Hi Nokin

Welcome to BF and hope you enjoy the forums.
Here's one you should have a look at
http://www.birdforum.net/forumdisplay.php?f=371
this is the thread for Yorkshire birding. Add to it, ask questions, we'll do our best to help.
The following is the discussion thread for the next Yorkshire meet
http://www.birdforum.net/showthread.php?t=72157
