Help with id ducks(Aythya)in Shanghai, China

Are the ducks which were marked Baer's pochards?

Hi

My tentative suggestions:

first photo:
left circled - male tufted duck (emerging from eclipse / 1st w?)
right circled - looks more interesting, a rich mahogany tone to the head - do you have photos of this side on?

second photo:
left circled - female tufted duck
right circled - again looks interesting, possible green tone to the head? Am I imagining this? Do you have another shot with this bird in?

actually I think you are right, all of these duck are tufted duck. the Guide to the birds of China doesn't mention the eclipse individuals, so I took a mistake. Sorry for I don't have more good pictures :(

look at the one besides the circled "Baer's" on the top-right in the 2nd photo.It has a more green-toned head.So I think the green tone came from your camera and cant be sure of Baer's.
