Photo of a red breasted sapsucker

This photo was talen at Goldstream park about 45 minutes outside Victoria. I used a Fujifilm S3000. any suggestions, comments, or friendly advice would be welcome.

it is a cracking shot.if i had taken it however i would have tried to include the whole bird.but that is just my personal preference.

Well i got a whole body shots of it also(took about 20 photos.) Since it was so tame I could get within 2 feet of it. There was a second one of these right next to the parking lot.

I agree with the whole bird comment, and I also think it's a brilliant shot, but I do think it's a bit bright. Did you use a flash gun?
