Wild Caribbean

A treat for UK viewers.

Starting tonight (16/01/07) on BBC2 @ 9pm a new series called Wild Caribbean covering the astonishing variety of wildlife & scenery to be found within the islands of the Caribbean. The amazing landscapes & wildlife are diverse, unexpected & enthralling.

This is essential viewing for anyone considering a caribbean holiday!

Having been to the Caribbean, I am looking forward to watching what could be a very good series.

I can only hope that eventually it will get to the colonies.

The series will be released on DVD by the BBC shop 19th Feb' 07. See this link: http://www.bbcshop.com/invt/bbcdvd1998&bklist=<venda_bklist1>
I think region1 discs may be available for mail order.

Episode 1 was very entertaining & episode 2 is on BBC-Scotland tonight (BBC2 @ 9PM).

A gem of a series (although I'd have liked more birds and slightly less underwater stuff), but sadly it's now finished. I'll be getting the DVD when it comes out in a couple of weeks.

Maybe Steve Toussaint (the narrator) could be Sir David Attenborough's replacement?
