Question Animal Planet and National Geographic Channel

Hello dear bird lover friends!

Do yuo like to watch programs on animal Planet and National Geographic Channel about birds and other animals?

I loved the program, called "The Life of Birds". It is stopped now maybe because of lack of new series. Do you know it? It was on Animal Planet. I hope it returns with new episodes.

Hugs to you all,
Antonia

Hi Antonia,

the Life of Birds series was part of a larger series of David Attenborough programmes 'Life of...' which featured plants, insects, mammals and so on. You might be able to buy them from here: http://www.bbcshop.com/icat/top10&source=1515

best wishes
VB

Hello Antonio,

I am sure National Geographic or Animal Planet will have films and series about birds, you will have to check regularly in your tv papers or magazines for details.

Even here in the U K we do not have enough bird and nature programmes for us nature lovers to watch. We have several at once and then none for weeks.

Good luck and enjoy watching your birds.

Hi Antonia,

The other Attenborough series are not about just birds, but most of them have lots of birds in them. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Attenborough

Also, watch out for repeats of BBC programmes in the series "Natural World": http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Natural_World and the Anglia televison series "Survival".

Finally, programmes by Bill Oddie http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bill_Oddie are excellent.

Hello Ann,

Yes, I'll try but in our newspapers TV schedules are not always matching with these on National Geographic Channel itself. :(

This is true and it is very sad. I hope in future things \get better for us, the nature lovers. :)

Hello Antonia,

I hope you are still on line. Can you get BBC television in Bulgaria? if so watch my tv diary on these pages. Next week there is the Wildlife on One series every afternoon and a week tomorrow a fabulous 10 minute programme of Peregrine Falcons and RAF jets called Top Gun it is a must for all bird lovers.

If ever you would like more details of programmes please PM me.

I put the tv diary on BF every Sunday morning for the following week.

Red face

Hello Ann,

Yes, we have BBC Prime but main BBC is stopped from our cable operators. I am very sad about it. I'll check your tv schedules on BF.

Thank you about this!

Hugs,
Antonia
