Southeastern Virginia USA

I think it is a Ovenbird or a Hermit Thrush.
Thank You,
Marvin

Looks more like Hermit thrush...
Spotted vs streaking on breast...
Also look for reddish tail (which I can not see).
Also (though weather has been mild until late, more likely to be Hermit in Va. this time of year.

Nice opportunity in such a good image to see some wing formula details.
In Catharus - Hermit and to a lesser extent Gray-cheeked has p6 emarginated which can be seen in Marvins excellent image, (slightly in Veery, none in Swainson´s) Looking close at the subject bird the shorts p10 beneath the primary coverts
seems to fall short of the tips of the longest primary covert which is good for Hermit
(-5mm shorter-4mm longer, 3-12mm longer in Gray-cheeked)
So together with plumage characters, the distinkt white eye-ring and rufous tail and uppertail coverts makes it a Hermit Thrush.

Also, I believe Hermit is the only spotted thrush found in the US in winter
