I don't know the model number, but....
That scope was made in the early 90s in Korea. I used one of them in 94 and 95. If in good condition, they are a nice scope, comparable to what you get these days for $300 maybe. The zoom is not useable past 30x, i always kept it at 15x. I think that the zoom is built in (as far as i remember).
I would not bid more than $200 US on it because for $350 you can get a really nice Vortex Sandpiper, which is better. 125 pounds UK sounds about right, but don't get carried away in a bidding war.

I had an identical scope but with a 20x before I bought my ED78, I sold that on ebay and got £100 for it, I suspect that had the phone lines in manchester not been wiped out by a fire in one of the tunnels I might have got a little more. I bought it from In focus in 2000 and paid £210 for it including the tripod they charge £39 for. It gives a nice clear view typical of Nikon, not as bright as the Ed scopes. As far as I could find out it was the scope that Nikon made before they started calling them RA or RAII or sky and earth, and they give a very similar view to these scopes.

I had this same model about six years ago. Bought it secondhand, in perfect condition. I recognise it from the diagonal hatching relief on the side. Mine was also straight-through. It was a nice starter scope at the time, but it gave noticeable colour-fringing and a little flare. The zoom, as another post said, didn´t really go much beyond 25x or so without losing a lot of light. Still, the image was a nice contrasty one typical of Nikon, but after a year or two I got dissatisfied with it and sold it in favour of a Swaro 65mm. (Which I´ve now abandoned in favour of a Nikon ED82A...funny old world). Nowadays, I think for a little more cash you´d get a much better scope, and wouldn´t buy it unless it´s for a youngster starting off.

Just closed with no bids I notice.

I would have been put of by the sellers feedback myself.

He does say it could be picked up though so it could be a bargain for someone local to haggle for?
