Can someone settle this please?

We are having a discussion on my favourite fishing forum as regards the identity of this bird.
For my money I think its an imature female blackbird but then Im absolutely no expert.
We would appreciate someones help please. This is the link.

I'd agree it's a female blackbird, with an apparently deformed bill.
