Broad winged hawk in flight?

This shot was taken 4/23/07 in Massachusetts this hawk had a high pitched whistle I believe it to be a broad winged.

I think thats right. The underwing and tail patterns match an adult.

I remember the first time I heard that high whistle coming from a wooded area. When I tracked it down, I was surprised to find out it was a hawk

Broad white wings with black border at tip, broad black and white bands on tail, high pitched whistle call. It's a Broadwing. Good ID!
