Wader ID confirmation please - Romania
I took this photos yesterday morning on Colentina river, near Bucharest. I think is a Common Sandpiper (Actitis hypoleucos), but I'm waiting for your confirmation...

That white between wing/breast tells me Common Sandpiper.

Thank you tarzzz, nick, rob and robin.
So, it is the 7th wader species identified by me (with your help) in the area this year (after Greenshank, Spotted Redshank, Wood Sandpiper, Black-winged Stilt, Pied Avocet and Little Ringed Plover). |
