Creepy crawlies
I use a 350D and whilst visiting SS Great Britain I noticed "creepy crawlies" through the view finder. I always thought they only lived in wet film cameras. How can I get rid of the little critters or is it best to leave alone.
I downloaded the images and cannot see any sign of them on the pics. Thanks Steve |

Hello Steve,
I've never had creepy crawlies in my 350D, but i have had them in my bins (i won't mention the brand, they were only cheap) and i've left them alone, now they're gone. A camera is easier to clean than binoculars, with a blower brush perhaps. If they don't appear on your images, i wouldn't worry. Al. |

it sounds like the creepy crawlies are on the prism, or mirror. Be very careful if touching either of these, but a blower should get the little bugs off the prism, will need to take the lens off, turn the camera upside down and you should see the prism, very carefully give it a blow with a rocket blower or such, be aware though these little bugs could find their way onto the sensor if you arent careful, so sometimes its better to just leave them.
