Greetings from the Land of Enchantment!
Hi!
We are birders from Santa Fe, New Mexico. I don't see any other markers on the map from New Mexico so perhaps I can add something from this perspective. It's great to see so many like minded people! I know that I can learn a lot from you all... |

Hello Casey Ryan,
And another welcome to the Birdforum. We visited your state about 10 years ago (Bosque) and would love to go back again. Looking forward to hearing more from you.

Yes, Bosque del Apache is a pretty amazing place. The numbers of sandhill cranes and snow geese wintering over there is impressive. Being there at dawn is a real treat when they wake up and burst into the sunshine... So much other wildlife there as well - turkeys, coyotes, kingfishers, lots of ducks, the list goes on... Come on back!
