I think this is a Long-billed Plover. Non-breeding adults are tricky.

It certainly isn't a Common Ringed Plover.

The eye-ring isn't very clear, but usually even in non-breeding plumage Little Ringed has an obvious eye-ring. Long-billed often has an obscured or faded eye-ring in non-breeding plumage.

Second the legs are flesh(would be yellow or orange if either of the other 2 species..though Little Ringed juveniles have flesh-pink legs sometimes).

It is very elongated and has a large bill, but some Little-Ringed can have quite elongated bills too.

It also seems too long-legged for the other two species, but again this is subjective.

The facial pattern and breast band also look good for Long-billed Plover. Though the breast band has more black than usual for Long-billed, but it is variable.

See the picture below for comparison with a Long-billed in non-breeding plumage:

What kind of habitat was it in?

I agree with Sean - your bird is a Long-billed, just a different plumage from the more typical bird in your last posting.

Cheers
Mike

God, that's a long bird! Never seen Long-billed and if it is one, thanks, don't think I'd mistake it anywhere.
